How it works
The CommandScape platform is comprised of embedded control devices using a network interface that securely connects to a server local to the installed site. Applications allow you to manage and control multiple sites, and cloud services enable security management and the facilitation of remote connections.
The local site server is composed of three software services

The Device Server
- Manages secure connections to various CommandScape modules
- Socket-based communication for high-speed connections

Video Daemon
- Enables secure live video viewing either locally or remotely
- Records when triggered by a motion sensor
- Saves video to the site server and uploads video securely to the CommandScape cloud

Palmetto Server
- Takes commands from the client applications and relays them to the Device Server
- Serves as the centerpiece of logic and integration within a site
